Meet Arda
Founder of Hummzies
I was born in Turkey, where hummus and chickpeas were a big part of everyday life. When I moved to Canada during high school, I quickly noticed that snacking looked very different here and chickpeas didn’t get nearly the attention they deserved. I wanted to change the way people think about this humble ingredient, and show how it can be both wholesome and exciting.
I’ve always loved the outdoors, hiking, sailing, biking, and exploring. For me, snacks aren’t just something to have at home; they need to fuel active moments and adventures. That’s why I created Hummzies: a crunchy, baked hummus stick that’s high in protein, fiber, and iron, but still light, tasty, and easy to take on the go.
From the Heart of Hummus Land
We produce our products in Turkey, where hummus is historically consumed over hundreds of years. With our 3 different flavours, we aim to satisfy every single costumer and provide them with a snack that they won't regret!
